Cook – Rockwell’s Restaurant
Work in our beautiful lakeside restaurant serving the residents in our Independent Living Facility! This Cook position possesses the unique opportunity for no late nights and the chance to display your creativity! We also offer a competitive starting rate, which is negotiable based on experience. Minimum start rate $18/hr. The position hours include an every other Saturday requirement.
In addition to serving residents in their private restaurant, the cook may assist with preparations for catered functions and should be willing to assist as needed, including dish washing.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in soups, sauces, prep and line work including grill and sauté stations and handling of meats and seafood. Dessert knowledge is a plus.
- The ability to work well independently, or as a team.
- A self-motivated work ethic, positive attitude while ensuring a consistent, high quality product.
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
