The Shorehaven Service League of Volunteers has initiated a partnership with the Oconomowoc Food Pantry, launching a ‘Give From Your Heart’ Holiday Food Drive from now until Dec. 31, to provide food items to low-income and food-insecure residents in need this holiday season.
The Shorehaven Service League of Volunteers supports current needs of Shorehaven residents while partnering with others within our Oconomowoc community, i.e. retired American flags collection for proper disposal by the Oconomowoc American Legion Post 91.
Canned and non-perishable packaged foods will be collected inside Forgotten Treasures Resale Boutique at 1305 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Oconomowoc during regular store hours. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. “We are proud to support the Oconomowoc Food Pantry as it serves the underserved in the Oconomowoc area,” said Service League fundraising chair Pat Ornberg. The Pantry has served 9,678 families since 2019 and has given away 16,705 bags of food to those families. The Pantry is currently serving more than 257 families each month.
