I love that we can just enjoy the lake, get on the boat, and don’t have to do any of the work that goes along with it.

We honestly believe my wife was given the care that her children would give her.  You can’t ask for more than that.

It’s beautiful here, perfectly beautiful.  The landscaping is taken care of.  Everything is pristine and of course, being on the lake is a real plus.

It’s the best decision I ever made, and I feel at home here.  Fate guided me here. It’s funny how things come together in life.

I have so much fun here that I’m sorry I didn’t move here sooner.

What I love most about living here is how positive people are.  I am uplifted by my conversations with others every day.  I think partly because it’s a faith-based environment we live in.  It’s hopeful.

When you care about a resident.  You do what you know they would like, the way they would want it done. It’s about treating them with dignity.

You can’t fake genuine care.  You can’t fake genuine compassion.

Right now I’m independent but you never know what is going to happen in life.  If I need assisted living, I can move across the street to the Shorehaven Assisted Living Tower.

I wanted to become a nurse, but I just couldn’t do it. The next best thing for me to be able to help people and keep them safe was to do this. People say hi to you here. Residents and staff welcome you. Everybody’s like a family here, and you don’t feel like your gum…

Everything about my stay at Shorehaven’s rehab was perfect. The food, the care, the cleanliness, the entire experience. I wasn’t quite sure I wanted to leave!

I am very happy with the care my mother receives at Shorehaven. She is always neatly dressed with attention to her hair. Her room is always clean. I never have to worry about her and I am grateful for the staff. Shorehaven gets an A+ from me!

I live at Shorehaven Senior Living in Oconomowoc. Some residents are in their 60’s and 70’s and some are in their 80’s and 90’s. I live in an apartment that is smaller than my house was, but when I open my door, I have several libraries at my disposal. My yard is on the shoreline…
