RN Assisted Living Manager 

Shorehaven has been committed to its mission of serving seniors since its founding 85 years ago.  We have been at the forefront in the development of new services and provide a full continuum of care at our Oconomowoc, WI campus.  We are seeking an RN to manage the day-to-day operations of our Memory Care and Frail Elderly CBRFs serving up to 39 residents.  Come be a part of our team!  The Manager will:

  • Monitor and guide staff to assure we follow our mission of Reflecting Christ’s love, we provide homes and resources for seniors. Maintain excellent communication with staff and other departments.
  • Collaborate with household members to create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positivity in the household.
  • Assure that quality of care and quality of life are provided to each resident and resident rights are honored at all times using Person First Principles.
  • Assist staff in the care of our residents, helping cover staff positions when the need arises.
  • Interview, select, train, coach and evaluate staff.
  • Monitor the physical, mental and psychological aspects of each resident and respond accordingly. Oversee resident care and service plans.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-admission processes, helping new residents transition into their new household. This includes resident screenings and overseeing care and service plans.  Maintain appropriate communications with family members and lead Care Plan Conferences.
  • Ensure proper documentation in electronic resident records is completed as per regulations.
  • Develop team approaches to challenging behaviors using a non-pharmacological approach whenever possible.
  • Monitor fee schedules for each resident annually or upon any change.
  • Be an active part of the Behavioral approaches and treatment plans for each resident as appropriate.

The schedule is full-time, primarily days, Monday – Friday, with on-call responsibility.

Prior experience in Assisted Living and a current WI nursing license are required.  Supervisory experience with a collaborative approach is strongly preferred.
