Activity Assistant – CBRF
Shorehaven provides a continuum of services for seniors including Independent Living apartments, In-Home services, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care residential services. Located on the west side of Oconomowoc, we have been serving seniors in the Lake Country area for over 85 years and have a reputation for excellence.
This position is a great match for an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a heart for seniors and the desire to make a difference in their lives. Experience with seniors with dementia-related disease and a creative side a plus. This position is scheduled for 64 hours in a two-week period. Plan, evaluate and execute daily group and individual activity programs to meet the needs and interests of residents. Encourage participation and lead residents in group exercise, crafts, games, etc. Assist in planning and preparing materials and developing the monthly calendars. Assist with special events. Valid WI driver license and good driving record required to take residents on outings or rides. CBRF certification preferred. Starting rate $17 per hour, negotiable depending upon experience.
