Cook
Do you love to cook? Would you like the satisfaction of knowing residents look forward daily to meals you helped prepare?
Consider joining the team in our modern Health and Rehabilitation Center kitchen! Working three days/week including every other weekend, this position has no late hours! You will be scheduled between 6:00am and 6:00pm, either 6:00am – 2:30pm or 9:30am – 6:00pm. Additional shifts may be available to help cover for vacations, etc.
Cooks are responsible for setting up their work station, preparing ingredients and preparing meals using standard recipes in an efficient manner while maintaining high standards of quality food production. Cooks also participate in menu conferences and may assist in coordinating cooking activities. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to lift up to 35 lbs. Related experience is strongly preferred.
Hours:
SHRC: 6:00am – 2:30 pm or 9:30am – 6:00pm
