The Shorehaven Service League of Volunteers raised more than $47,000 in 2021 to provide needed equipment for resident and staff use. Items approved for purchase this week included a pallet jack and dump trailer for maintenance use; vitals carts, Sara Stedy machines and medical stand lifts for skilled nursing use; a Sara Stedy and Raizer chair for the assisted living area; outdoor furniture for memory care; and a kayak stand and kayaks for employee use on the Lac La Belle lakefront. The Shorehaven Service League of Volunteers raise funds to enhance resident lives, through Holly Fest, the Forgotten Treasures Resale Shop, the Great Grill Out and the end of summer Extravaganza Sale. Volunteers presented the check for $47,250 to CEO Dale Dahlke and Administrator Emily Karls at their quarterly meeting at the Center for Life Enrichment.
