The Shorehaven Board of Directors has named a new Chief Executive Officer to succeed retiring CEO Dale Dahlke, who has served the not-for-profit continuing care senior campus for 37 years. A Board Search Committee was formed, and a firm with experience in recruiting senior living organization executives was hired to manage the search process.

Chief Executive Officer Tyler Gudex, Waukesha, will assume his role on May 5. Gudex served as the Executive Director of Eastcastle Place, a Life Plan Community with management services provided by Life Care Services. Tyler has been an employee of Life Care Services, one of the nation’s top leaders in Senior Living Management, for 15 years and has held various roles of progressively increased responsibility as an Administrator and Executive Director for the company throughout his tenure.

Gudex has significant experience and success in retirement living campus oversight, launching his career in senior living in 2012. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Carroll University, and a Certificate in Not-For-Profit Management from Harvard University. He is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Wisconsin.

“We’re excited to welcome Tyler to our Shorehaven campus. Our commitment to excellence, for residents, staff, families, supporters and volunteers alike, remains unwavering,” said Shorehaven Board Chair Phil Holland.

Gudex noted, “Being appointed as the next CEO of Shorehaven is an honor, and I look forward to carrying the incredible legacy of providing the top senior living care and services that Shorehaven has built in its 85 years.  I look forward to working with the residents, staff and community partners to lead Shorehaven’s mission of “Reflecting Christ’s love, we provide homes and resources for seniors.”
