Shorehaven recognized more than 75 volunteers at its Volunteer Appreciation Brunch at Rockwell’s Restaurant this week, when staff and volunteers gathered for a breakfast, installation of officers and check presentation during National Volunteer Appreciation Week. The Service League presented a $10,000 check to the Shorehaven Charitable Foundation to help offset costs to residents. The Forgotten Treasures Resale Boutique contributed the amount from revenues in 2022. Chaplain Nick S. also installed officers, including, from left, President Sharon Manke, Secretary Maria Sowinski, and directors Pat Ornberg, Sandy St. George and Judy Holland. Vice President Sherry Brown and Treasurer Karen Jensen were not present.
