Did you know as a Shorehaven volunteer, you are also part of a greater group of volunteers called Shorehaven Service League of Volunteers? The group began in 1951, when a small gathering of women from Dr. Martin Luther Church in Oconomowoc banded together to form an auxiliary. In 1973, the name Service League was adopted, and Shorehaven volunteer members launched fundraisers to provide needed extras for residents.

Over the years, the Service League has purchased a wide variety of items with monies raised from Forgotten Treasures Resale Boutique, Tree of Love campaign, Holly Fest sale, cookouts and more. Because of the generosity of the community they were able to purchase items such as buses, lawn furniture, Christmas trees, shade systems, chapel furnishings, pontoon boats, mobility chairs, fitness center equipment, the Service League Pavilion, therapeutic elliptical bicycles and more.
